The software and how they collect your funds is ok. If you try to leave they will give you every excuse that they can not give you a secure file with your customers credit card information. You have to jump through hoops and they try to charge you $1000's of dollars. Every opportunity they get to slide a stealth fee in on you they will. Do yourself a favor and find a different vendor.

The WORST credit card processor in the world. Send out disputes via mail with ONE day to respond. Such an awful company. The WORST processor I ever used. Charged my account for 6 more months without permission for some nonsense 5 fee even though I never even contracted with them. (they were a 3rd party processor for ANOTHER awful company called ZENPLANNER who is also AWFUL)

This was the default card processor for my EHR account with Client Care. It cost money to have this account even when I was not processing cards through my small business.
Every few months they required a "PCI validation" which was basically just a confirmation of the information they already had on file or they would charge an enormous fee monthly until the information was verified.
Logging into an account with Paysimple is not an intuitive or straightforward process, and it required that I reset my password each time.

Customer service was horrible. Chat is always down and speaking with snarky, rude individuals on the phone who refused to answer basic questions about charges and only wanted to transfer to other departments made for a horribly painful process of even shutting down this account.

Not worth it, avoid them like the plague.

this company is terrible, hence there only 5 star review comes from an employee who states "great place to work".
That is probably a true statement since they do nothing over there. They do not get back to you, they do not respond to your emails, they do not resolve anything. I've called Josephine and emailed her more than 3 times in 6 days to settle a dispute. I have yet to hear from anyone. Our first call to them was before xmas.
We agreed on 2-3% for merchant charges, they did not mention all there hidden fees resulting to close to 5% in charges. Unfortunately this terrible company is linked to our software, now we will have to consider canceling both.

I have been with them closer to twenty years than ten. They have gone downhill tremendously. They have almost non existent customer service. The customer service they act out does not seem to have an interest in helping out and instead acts smug and superior. Very odd and unhelpful. Tickets that don’t get worked and issues that don’t get responses or resolutions now. If you value your small businesses do NOT use this processor. (If you received an answer from their care@ email you are doing better than most for IE). Would you let a company like this handle your billings and collections?

One of the worst companies EVER. Do not, I repeat do not give them your business. Upon signing up with them they constantly keep asking for the same information that was given to them from the start. The day of our first transactions they had another company (Forte) request the same information given to PaySimple. No communication whatsoever. Now they are holding our clients funds for 90 days because we decided to close our account with PaySimple. PLEASE BEWARE.

Been stealing money out of my account for months. Not even using their services anymore, yet can't get in touch with anyone, no replies to emails, phone calls, nothing! Had to go to my bank to get them to block PaySimple!!! This is happening to everyone else it seems like, based on all of the other reviews

Horrible horrible customer service! We have been trying over a month to switch the person who updates our PS account, and not only do we have to jump through all their hoops - which we have, they keep changing what they need from us! And it takes a multitude of phone calls to find out what those new hoops are because no one who answers the phone knows. In the meantime, our members aren't having their dues withdrawn from their accounts and we're losing a lot of money. We've been consistently told there's a manager working on it and will get back to us, but that NEVER happens! We end up having to call, only to get the same exact runaround and promises. Of course the manager on our case (Sammy) is always too busy in a meeting with someone more important to take our call. If this is how they treat their customers, I wonder how safe it is to put our money in their hands. Stay away, people! Use PayPal instead - much higher ratings.
