Classes are massive hit or miss. Tiffany is the only very good instructor and most people seem to feel the same since her classes are waitlisted a month in advance. Super disappointed that Christiana left she was the only other good instructor. Sabrina is okay but too repetitive. She does the exact same class each week

A nice studio with natural lighting and professional instructors with reasonable pricing. But I do wish they looked after their equipment more.. the springs have to be updated and the reformers need to be deep cleaned.

Studio as a whole is okay- some of their instructors like Constanza and Faran are great but it's a real hit or miss with who you get. I would avoid Emma D like the plague- she's rude, doesn't offer any corrections and minimal variations and generally thinks she's doing clients a favour rather than treating us like paying customers. Would not pay the prices they're commanding per class for an instructor like Emma.

Other than that it's a quaint studio in Angel, reformers are old and general cleanliness is low but does the job if you like reformer pilates-- preferred their old location.

Very disappointed to be leaving this review based on the class that I attended with Emma.

I am a regular reformer pilates goer and while the class is not what I would prefer (no poses demonstrated on the reformer, very quick poses pace, no reminders to breathe or corrections on posture) I can appreciate these may be my preferences, and spring variations were offered.

Instead, the reason for the review is the conduct of the teacher Emma, who made the class really unpleasant for me.

I arrived at the class itself with 1min to go (instructions say to arrive no more than 5mins early, which I did). I can say this with certainty as I checked my watch & the instructor said that it would be starting in a minute.
I have a shoulder injury and tried to catch Emma's eye before the class to mention it, but was unable to.

After an extended period of exercises in plank, this was too much for me and I tried to catch Emma's eye to get a variation. When this was not possible, I tried to approach but was shooed. After waiting about a minute, I explained I had an injury and could not continue with planks. I was told to 'go onto your forearms [in plank]' but explained this was too much shoulder pressure.
In front of the whole class I was then told 'Well it's too late to change it now' and 'I asked if anyone had any injuries at the beginning of the class'. When I mentioned that I couldn't have been in yet (the class is only 8 people) I was then told in front of the whole class 'well YOU must have been late then'. As aforementioned, I wasn't late - and even if I had been, it isn't unreasonable to ask for variations for an injury.

I then spent the next 10mins entertaining myself.
Once the planks (part of leg exercises) were completed, Emma then said 'now this exercise shouldn't hurt ANYONE'S shoulder' which was clearly pointed at me.

I was so excited to come to the studio, but the rudeness, lack of professionalism or empathy and lack of accomodation for injury from Emma today mean that I had a really horrible experience.

I would absolutely not recommend.

I joined Pilates HQ in April as I needed a change in my workout schedule and I was instantly hooked on these classes. Doing Tiffany, Christiana and Vilmas classes every week has made a real difference to my confidence and has really changed my body, I’m hooked :). Thank you to the teachers who have such patience and push you hard while it still being fun <3

I had high hopes about this Pilates studio after reading all of the glowing reviews. However, this was the worse experience I’ve had after practicing reformer pilates for over 18 months.

I did a beginners class with Emma and really didn’t appreciate her attitude. Her instructions were unclear and was quite aggressive with her comments if I was doing a move incorrectly. In other studios, the instructor will help by putting you in the right position. My issues were not because I don’t know what I’m doing (as I go to reformer classes twice a week) but because the instructions were just so confusing! I also felt that the class was quite rushed as we did not do each move for long enough, in my opinion.

I gave this studio a try because of the low prices compared to other places but I guess you get what you pay for. The machines also really need a clean and there should be more space between them as the room is fairly small.

If you’re new to reformer Pilates, I recommend going to another studio where you will get more guidance as you could end up doing more harm than good.

I loved the class, this was my first time attending a reformer pilates class and I have already book 4 more classes. The instructor took her time to explain and correct/guide any person who needed it. Great space, good machines and the class was not crowded. I felt quite comfortable and left feeling great it was a good workout.

Great facilities. Small groups classes so teachers have the time to correct postures, and they provide different options to suit everyone's levels and abilities. I've followed both Diane and Emma's classes and they are amazing teachers!
