The studio is cozy and welcoming, truly giving “altar” vibes! My first-ever yoga class was with Dan, who was very kind, professional, and patient, making it a great introduction to yoga. Also, Andrei and Andra went above and beyond to help me surprise my boyfriend with a gift voucher for 5 classes as a Christmas gift. Their support and thoughtfulness made the process so smooth and special.
I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a friendly place to practice yoga. Also excellent for English speaking people!

Îmi place foarte mult formatul sesiunilor de la Altar deoarece nu este gândit ca yoga care ia în considerare doar partea fizică(cum am experimentat până acum în alte locuri), ci se simte perspectiva de yoga ca disciplină (mentală, fizică & spirituală). M-a ajutat ca am primit sprijin și indicatii pe parcurs și overall instructorul a fost blând cu noi si a adus o energie foarte primitoare. Iar de locație nu mai spun, este o completare perfectă a atmosferei de la clasă ?

What’s special about Altar Yoga is that you are immersed in the practice. It’s suitable for all levels and I really mean that- there’s always a variation to do more, as well as help to master the basics.
Classes are mostly in English, easy sign-in with ESX, perfect location with hundreds of cafés for a delicious coffee after practice.
A plus is the beautiful design of the place✨

I've been attending both in-studio and online classes at Altar for some time now, and I can't recommend it enough! The atmosphere is welcoming, making it easy to feel relaxed from the moment you join (their studio is dark and warm which is super nice). The classes are held in English and can be attended online from anywhere, which is a huge plus for me as a foreigner who travels frequently and doesn't speak Romanian.

Andra and Andrei are warm, professional, and genuinely care about each and every person who comes to Altar. They create a safe and supportive environment, ensuring everyone feels empowered in their yoga practice. This place is truly a gem in the yoga community in Bucharest <3
