Came here for my birthday meal and had such a lovely time! ♄ We had majority of vegetarian options which tasted amazing. The flavours were perfect. The service we received was impeccable. Everyone who served us was so friendly, gave us advice on the menu and even had great wine knowledge to help us choose a wine. The service makes such a difference in places like this and I had a great birthday dinner! đŸ€©â­ïž

This is a real east end version of high end dining. Every dish we ordered was really beautiful, well balanced and felt super fresh. The dressed tomatoes were so fantastic I am still thinking about them 2 months later. The outside/inside dining feel was the perfect balanced of elevated and also relaxed. The olive oil ice cream was incredible. I'd bring anyone to Brat because it's really an experience like no other.

Memorable birthday meal at Brat, even when it’s slightly more raucous Christmas party season.

The service really stood out, we were welcomed with bubbly from the minute we sat down and were walked through the menu with insightful recommendations from the team and they were all spot on.

The sardines and the hispi cabbage were faves, and the cheesecake did not disappoint. Even the non-Basque cheesecake fan at the table was converted (and they are more an NY baked cheesecake type).

A sublime restaurant with immaculate vibes and impeccable service - would definitely recommend for a variety of occasions whether for small or large groups, casual or more intimate celebrations.

“Bangin’ cheesecake”. That’s what someone said over my shoulder in this buzzy place. And they were right. The Burnt Cheesecake is delicious. Sadly the rest of our Saturday night meal fell short. We had lots of little plates to share between two like: crunchy pork, a squash fondue and hake balls. Left full but everything short of seasoning. Just felt a bit meh, a bit one dimensional. Except for a very bizarre spicy-not-pickly steak tartar hidden under a garden of garnish. For £70 a head we’d probably go elsewhere. Except for cheesecake

Staff were kind and thoughtful, even if otherwise occupied. Food was below expectations. The beef tartare was good, but small and buried under some random salad and copious black pepper on the side. The "peppers and cod roe" was cumbersome to eat since the stems were left on the peppers but incorporated into the dish (and also hidden under some salad). The cod roe or peppers separately would be good, but wasn't a good combination. I am not sure why the chicken rice was purposely burned to the bottom of the pan and also burned on top. The burning didn't add anything to the dish and made the rice a teeth breaker if not careful. The confit shallot and chicken leg didn't seem confit - they were a bit tough and hard to eat, especially with them both being burnt. The liver in the dish was quite good, but couldn't make up for the somewhat dry rice. It came with a separate dish of salad which I was encouraged to mix with the chicken rice since "it is so rich". If they had ever been to South East Asia, they would have tasted an amazing chicken rice. The chef, Miguel, was very kind and tried to make it better. But since I am leaving London soon and since I wasn't so interested in eating more of this food, I was reluctant. Adding to my disappointment, this place has been recommended by friends for a while. But thanks again to the kind staff who tried hard to accommodate me. Update: They included an allergen in my salad after I told them about it. My allergens aren't fatal, but I'd be careful if you eat here and have allergies.

Nowhere is better. Came again on New Year’s Day and as always didn’t disappoint. Personally much prefer to the other Brat site and love the atmosphere and slow pace.

No turbot this time but treat yourself, you deserve it.
