Yes I just wanted to complement Nisha the manager at the front desk was so helpful today. When I called and inquired if you were open for the day since we had a very large snow and ice storm, she was so cheerful and uplifting and welcoming me to come and work out, it made my day! My interaction with her when I do visit is always pleasant, she’s a credit to your company! It’s hard to find someone that deals with the public these days so professional and yet welcoming ! Again wanted to thank her for a job well done, and complement you on the accommodations at your gym, they are wonderful!

I’ve been a member at Genesis Downtown Kansas City for a while now, and I have to say that Landon, the club manager, has truly made a difference in my experience. From the moment I joined, he’s been incredibly attentive and approachable, always making sure members feel welcome and valued.

Whether it's offering helpful advice on fitness routines, addressing any concerns promptly, or just creating a positive atmosphere throughout the club, Landon consistently goes above and beyond. His professionalism and commitment to the overall experience at the gym are evident in everything he does.

I’ve been to a lot of gyms, but the level of care and dedication that Landon puts into managing the club really sets Genesis Downtown apart. Highly recommend this location, especially if you're looking for a great gym with excellent leadership!

10/10 highly recommended! The staff is amazing! I never have to share or wait to use equipment. I love that they offer FREE classes. Only thing missing is a pool. If you’re looking for a nice location, clean gym, with lots of variety of equipment and activities… THIS LOCATION IS FOR YOU!

I visited this gym when out of town for work and was not impressed whatsoever. The front desk lady was rude and not at all friendly. The guest pass cost $25.01 for ONE DAY! The gym space is small and has outdated equipment. The equipment is mostly junk and 'Hoist Brand' which is worse than junk. The cables need replacement or at least maintenance as they do not operate in a manner conducive to smooth cable operation. The ancillary equipment for cable machines is very used, frayed ropes, broken or inoperable. The floor is filthy with dirt and hair and the artificial turf looks like it has never been vacuumed. Totally not worth a 25 dollar and one penny guest pass. I went to Flex Fitness KC the next day and paid 15 dollars a day and that place happens to be a REAL GYM with REALLY AMAZING EQUIPMENT. It's ten minutes away from this joke of a gym.

This gym used to be great before genesis took over.. used to be 24 hours now they close at 10 pm and 6pm on the weekends.. the sauna hasn’t been cleaned in years and the wood has mold and buildup on it. For closing early they sure don’t keep up the facility. These mega gyms are not what they used to be.

I'm a personal trainer from KC orginally but live in Orange County, California and I've worked at multiple 5 star resorts for over 20 years and I absolutely love this gym from the huge open space for functional work to the great equipment and to how clean it is. This is my number go to gym when I'm home visiting my mom. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone who serious about taking their workouts to the next level

I love coming to this gym as a guest. I’m a flight attendant so a gym is essential for us so we can decompress after a long day. I love coming here because it’s close to our hotel and the staff is so very sweet and accommodating. It’s also clean and professional! Also Kansas City is one of my favorite layovers…go Taylors boyfriend LOL. Definitely recommend this gym for anyone especially visitors nearby!

This Genesis location is good, staff is friendly, usually pretty clean. Getting there is another story… you have to get a parking pass and validate it inside of gym which is annoying for frequent gym goers but the walk between the gyms doors and the parking garage absolutely reeks of cigarettes because the homeless camp out inside and smoke which is scary as a girl alone.
