While in Donaghadee, I decided to go for Sunday roast. First impressions of the place were more serious & cold, but thought, let's give this place a chance. We ordered Lamb Rump roast and had a very disappointing experience.
Paying £23 for an extra small portion and having to pay extra for a Yorkshire pudding certainly adds to the frustration, particularly as the lamb was tough and difficult to cut. I've uploaded a picture of it, and you will be able to see the small amount of food you get for £23, if you take away the pudding. It definitely wasn't value for money, and quality doesn't seem to match up to the high cost of the meal.

Great place for a bit to eat. Daily offers are also available during the week. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very tasty.

My partner and I enjoyed some small Plates this week. They were delicious. Shout out to Harry and Tom for their fantastic service and warm welcome. We love this place.

I would describe service as overly attentive & rushed. We were literally sitting for 30 seconds before being asked what we would like to drink. No chance really to see what was on the wine or drinks menu. The burger was vey good but my wife's blackened salmon was poor. I could taste little or no spiciness and no seasoning. The rice was over cooked and wet instead of being fluffy. I understand that any restaurant wants to keep service moving but i really felt upon leaving that I have just been to an expensive fast food outlet. We had no starter, just two mains and one side and a bottle of house wine.£69. In and out in less than an hour. My overall feeling is that if you stick with anything from the grill or the frier you'll be ok.

Update: went again recently and it still does not delissapoint. I will definitely be back again when I am visiting.
Really nice spot. Stopped here with a party of four, and we had a lovely waiter and we got great food. They have a nice veggie burger option which was very good, and I had the harbour chicken which was delicious. I would definitely come back. We went around 1ish on a Saturday and it was nice and quiet, and we had a wonderful view over the bay.

It is right opposite to the sea and we had our food while overlooking the sea! The decorations and ambience is quite good and so is the food quality. We had battered cod and we enjoyed our food. There has been a slight change in the menu and so you might not get chicken goujon for kids there anymore!

Booked for 6, got a great table upstairs overlooking the harbour. Staff were fab, attentive, chatty and welcoming. Food was delicious and all of our party said the same. I had the blackened salmon with dirty rice, fresh chillies and pak choi, it was fantastic and full of flavour.
Beloved and I shared a key lime pie, it was so good, melt in the mouth.
It was very busy both upstairs and down, so I guess booking is a must.
We will be back for sure.
