The service was really fast and friendly, the atmosphere and decor was pretty good too! The food looked delicious and the portion sizes were pretty big, however it didn't taste as nice as it looked! It was decent but didn't blow me or my family away and the coke was a bit flat! Worth a try but I'd personally not go back!

So we’re killing time driving around the NE coast into Blyth and come across Porky’s BBQ next to the Fat Butcher. Had to stop. First off, the place deffo has a US vibe if a little all over the place. Secondly it’s 3 degrees C outside and maybe 5 inside except for a roaring wood fire by the front door giving the atmosphere a smokey tinge. The young friendly servers were very eager to please and were very careful about my partner’s gluten intolerance. We had a glass of ‘coke’ (not sure what it was) and one of their Dr Pepper dupes, both were flat but we didn’t complain. We never quite understand why BBQ brisket is served ‘pulled’ rather than sliced in the UK? We think it’s because it’s much leaner. No pickles or onion ‘fixins’ is served either, but that’s OK. Our expectations were pretty low but the pulled pork was well-seasoned and wasn’t drowned in the usual sickly-sweet BBQ sauce. Rather good except for the almost complete absence of smoke. The jalapeño/manchego sausage was frankly quite badly overcooked and nary a green fleck of green chilli in sight, nor cheese which had melted out. It tasted like the sausages from a Tesco hot food bar which had sat out all day. You can see from the picture. However, the slaw was good and mustardy, the smash burger charred, well-constructed and quite satisfying. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. All in all, apart from the weird, long banger passing itself off as sausage, we had a satisfying BBQ meal a long way from our Texas home. The staff were lovely, the food much better than expected and very reasonable; a huge portion of meat. We would go again if in the area ever again, but it did make us miss our favourite TX sites!

Visited last night with our son. The atmosphere was great. Really nice ambience, loved the country music. The booths were really comfortable and the whole place was clean. The staff were really attentive, polite and friendly. The drinks were spot on, best margarita I've had for a while!

The food was epic!!!!!! We over ordered because we couldn't decide 😂

The chicken and waffle stack was really tasty, as were the ribs and brisket. We had boneless wings for a starter and the Korean BBQ sauce was just the right level of sweet, sour and heat!

I had the surf and turf kebab which was massive! But really tasty. I could have eaten the home made slaw on its own, it was so moreish!

Cannot wait to go back here again!!!! Just fell in love with the place!

Great food and great value

I had a very enjoyable meal with my girlfriend on a quiet Saturday lunchtime.
The place had a nice atmosphere and plenty of seating. The staff were pleasant and attentive.

Burgers were the choice. My 'Porky's Smash Burger' was very tasty and messy!
Plenty of thick cheese sauce pouring out.
The beef patties weren't very flavourful but the pulled brisket and pulled pork were delicious.
My girlfriends buffalo chicken burger was really spicy but she liked it.
The slaw was very nice but was a bit sparce. Luckily I was able to have my girlfriends portion too!

I asked for magic dusted fries but I'm pretty sure they were just the normal ones because my girlfriends were the same.
They were fresh and well salted though.

Definitely a place I'd visit again due to the extensive menu and decent pricing.

On entering the staff are in hand to show you to a table. The food was exquisite. The staff are so friendly. It's a lovely chilled atmosphere

Fantastic find we were looking for some lunch and found this place on Google maps. Great American dinner all food cooked onside and meat from butchers next door. We had wings starter and choice of smoked or southern fried and choices of sauce and heat levels. We had 2 and 1 of each type of wings and 2 different sauces was amazing. Great choice of food from burgers to ribs and dogs. We had the Porkies double c burgers which had beef patties, southern fried chicken breast and bbq pulled pork with homemade fries and slaw and as amazing. Cost fir 2 drinks, 2 wings and 2 mains wax £54. Great value would definitely recommend a visiting

Pop in and order had to sat for over 45 mins for a pick up 3 Sunday dinners with all meat. £67 CAME TO.. well for that price it was expensive and food as not that good. Staff seem friendly and atmosphere was nice but will not be going back for sunday .
